Who we are

Bookkeeping Behance is a business name used by Tazimul Alam Chow ("Taz", "I", "me"), a sole proprietor based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, who provides bookkeeping, payroll and U.S. tax preparation services to clients in the United States. Bookkeeping Behance is not a U.S. company. This policy explains what information this website (bookkeepingbehance.com) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information I collect

Information you give me

• Contact form: your name, email, phone number, business type, bookkeeping situation, timing, how you heard about me, S-corp status, state, and your message.
• Booking a call: when you book through my scheduling page (Cal.com), you provide your name, email and any answers to its questions. Cal.com handles that booking under its own privacy policy.
• Phone, text, WhatsApp and email: your number or address and what you send me.

Please don't send Social Security numbers, tax ID numbers, bank account numbers or tax documents through the website form, email or text. Clients share documents through my secure client portal.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics: this site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use it: pages viewed, approximate location (city or region), device and browser type, how you arrived, and actions such as clicking a phone number, a booking link or using a calculator. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technology. I don't use it to identify you personally.
• Server logs: the web host keeps standard logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
• Spam protection: the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It checks your browser and connection (such as IP address and browser details) when you use the form, and Cloudflare handles that information under its own privacy policy.
• Calculators: numbers you enter in the free calculators are processed in your browser. They are not sent to me or stored.

How I use information

• To reply to you, answer questions and prepare a quote
• To schedule and hold calls
• To provide services to clients under a signed engagement letter
• To improve the website and understand which pages are useful
• To keep the site secure and prevent spam
• To meet legal and professional obligations

I don't sell your personal information, and I don't share it with anyone for their own advertising.

Text messages and WhatsApp

If you give me your phone number, you agree that I may contact you by call, text message or WhatsApp about your inquiry or the services you asked about. These are conversational and service messages, not marketing blasts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages at any time, or HELP for help. Your phone number and consent to receive texts are never sold or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Who information is shared with

Only with services needed to run the business and do the work, such as:

• Website hosting and email (Hostinger)
• Scheduling (Cal.com)
• Analytics (Google Analytics)
• Spam protection for the contact form (Cloudflare Turnstile)
• Phone, text and messaging providers
• For clients: the accounting, payroll, tax and document software used for your work (for example QuickBooks Online, Xero, Gusto or Drake Tax), and the IRS or state agencies when filing on your behalf

I may also disclose information if required by law.

Where information is processed

I work from Bangladesh, and most of the software I use is operated by companies in the United States. By contacting me or using this site, you understand that your information may be accessed from Bangladesh and stored or processed in the United States and other countries where these providers operate.

How long I keep information

Inquiries that don't become client work are kept for up to two years, then deleted. Client records are kept as long as needed for the work and to meet record-keeping requirements that apply to tax preparers and to the records themselves.

Security

I use secure, access-controlled tools, two-step sign-in where available, and a secure client portal for documents. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so I can't guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

• Access, correction or deletion: email me and I'll respond within 30 days, subject to records I must keep.
• Texts: reply STOP to opt out.
• Analytics: you can block cookies in your browser, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Children

This site is for business owners and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
