About these terms

These terms apply to your use of bookkeepingbehance.com (the "site"). Bookkeeping Behance is a business name used by Tazimul Alam Chow ("Taz", "I", "me"), a sole proprietor based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Bookkeeping Behance is not a U.S. company. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

General information, not tax advice

Articles, guides, examples and calculators on this site are general information. They are not tax, legal, accounting or financial advice for your situation. Tax rules change and depend on your facts. Don't act on anything here without considering your own circumstances, and talk to a qualified professional before making decisions.

No client relationship until an engagement letter is signed

Using the site, sending a message, booking a call or receiving a quote does not make you a client. A client relationship begins only when we both sign an engagement letter that describes the work and the fee. That engagement letter governs the services; these terms govern the site.

What I am, and what I'm not

I'm a U.S. tax preparer, bookkeeper, QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor and Gusto Payroll Advisor. I'm not a CPA, an enrolled agent or an attorney, and I don't represent clients before the IRS. Nothing on this site should be read as a claim otherwise.

Calculators

The free calculators give estimates based only on the numbers you enter and the assumptions stated on each page. They may not reflect every rule that applies to you, and results are not guaranteed. Don't use them as the sole basis for filing a return, making tax payments or choosing a business structure.

No guarantees

I don't promise any particular tax savings, refund or outcome. Examples on the site use made-up numbers unless stated otherwise, and client stories reflect individual experiences that may not be typical.

Prices

Prices shown on the site are starting prices. Your actual fee is confirmed in writing before any work begins, and may change if the scope changes.

Using the site

• Don't use the site for anything unlawful, or to send spam, malware or harmful content.
• Don't try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site.
• Don't send sensitive information (Social Security numbers, tax ID numbers, bank account numbers) through the contact form.

Content ownership

The text, design, calculators and images on this site belong to Bookkeeping Behance unless stated otherwise. You may share links and quote short passages with credit. Please don't copy whole pages or the calculators without permission. Product names and logos of software shown on the site belong to their owners.

Links to other sites

The site links to other websites, such as IRS pages, scheduling and messaging tools. I don't control those sites and am not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its content are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. I'm not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, its content or the calculators, including decisions you make based on them. This does not limit any responsibility under a signed engagement letter for services I provide.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. If a dispute about the site comes up, we'll first try to resolve it in good faith by talking it through. These terms don't take away any rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live that can't be waived by agreement.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
