For Airbnb and VRBO hosts with an S-corp
Bookkeeping and tax prep for Airbnb hosts who run an S-corp
Clean books every month, an S-corp setup that holds up, and no guesswork at tax time. I'm Taz, a U.S. tax preparer who works only with short-term rental hosts and their S-corps, fully remote.

Who I help
Hosts with 1 to 5 properties, an S-corp, and often a W-2 job
Most of my clients rent on Airbnb or VRBO, recently moved their hosting into an S-corp, and still work a day job. They want books they can trust and a setup that is done right, not a tax trick.
I also keep books for long-term landlords. See rental property bookkeeping for landlords.
Questions hosts bring me
"Is my S-corp actually saving me money?"
Many hosts formed an S-corp on advice and never checked whether salary, payroll and reimbursements were set up to make it worth it.
"What salary should I pay myself?"
The IRS expects a reasonable salary for the work you do. Too low and it is a risk; too high and the S-corp may not be worth it.
"Can my Airbnb loss offset my W-2 income?"
Not automatically. Your average guest stay and your hours decide it. Read how the two tests work.
"Why doesn't my bank deposit match my Airbnb income?"
A payout is not your income. Fees, taxes and refunds sit inside it, and the books need to split them out by property.

FAQ
Straight answers
Do you work remotely?
Yes, fully. I work from Dhaka, Bangladesh, with U.S. clients only. Calls are on video, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 9 PM Eastern, and documents go through a secure client portal.
Which states do you work with?
I work with hosts anywhere in the U.S., and I focus on vacation markets such as Florida, Texas, Arizona and Tennessee. State taxes on short stays differ by state and city, so I check the rules for where your property is.
Which software do you use?
QuickBooks Online for the books and Gusto for payroll. If you already use them, I work inside your accounts.
How does pricing work?
Flat fees. The S-Corp Savings Audit is a flat $500. Ongoing services start at the prices on each service page, and you get a written quote after the free call, before any work starts.
Can you represent me in an IRS audit?
No. I am not a CPA, enrolled agent or attorney, and only they have unlimited representation rights before the IRS. If you need representation, I will tell you so and help you find it.
